IOWA CITY — Gov. Terry Branstad made a brief appearance in Iowa City as part of his "Jobs for Iowa" tour at the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce Thursday morning.

Belleville Public Library renovations will begin later this month. On Wednesday, its Board of Trustees approved contract bids for an electrical system, HVAC and enclosing an outdoor atrium to the main interior with a skylight roof.
