The government says there are 277,000 open manufacturing jobs, more than double the number a year ago. Cynthia Bowers reports some businesses say they are ready to hire if they find the right people.

$10 billion is on the way to school districts around the country as part of the $26 billion jobs bill signed Tuesday by President Obama. The money is to rehire laid-off teachers or ensure more teachers aren't let go before the new school year starts.
