After a failed marriage I found myself supporting three children. Five years ago I started my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. I worked three part time jobs teaching art and usually took seventeen hours each semester. I relied on my mother to help me watch my children, made little money, and wrecked my health by staying up many nights studying. Yet, I was determined! I was near the top in my class and got a very good education. I love the atmosphere at an art school, the competition and influence of other artists makes for some great art work!

When I was younger I deliberately ignored my father's plan for me to be a business manager. I dropped out of regular college and did what any young rebel with a gift would do-I went to art school. I had to pay for art school myself, which caused me not to finish the three associate degree programs I was working on simultaneously. I almost finished, but life got in the way. I got married and had a wonderful daughter. I was on cloud nine, and I really felt like things would be fine, but I struggled terribly for money. I taught art classes and did without. I still was relying on my parents quite a bit. My husband at the time was employed, buy a family can not make it on one good paycheck, especially two less than good paychecks. So for better or worse we divorced. I kept enjoying life, I moved back home and life was really good. Five years later I gave another stab at love. I had two wonderful children. I was still teaching art part time. I would take the babies and put them in a carrier on my back so I could teach. I was still relying on my family, because I married yet another man that was not economically sound.
